This issue of the ISWI Newsletter concerns: Workshop on the Applications of Global Navigation Satellite Systems ( United Nations / Moldova / United States of America ) Hosted by and Co-organized with the Agency for Land Relations and Cadastre of the Republic of Moldova.

As an explanatory note for this workshop, (marked in blue) is a message from Dr Hans Haubold.

Starting this year after the 2010 session of the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee of UNCOPUOS, the UN Programme on Space Applications will start organizing annual workshops on ISWI and will continue organizing annual workshops on GNSS applications. The latter will offer an opportunity for ISWI instrument arrays with GNSS (GPS) on board to establish a closer cooperation with GNSS providers and GNSS users. We have particulalrly in mind arrays such as GPS Africa, SCINDA, MAGDAS, and AWESOME.

Would you please distribute the attached Information Sheet (click ) and Application Form (click ) through the ISWI Newsletter?

Currently, an Information Sheet and Application Form for the first UN/NASA/JAXA Workshop on ISWI is in preparation and will be forwarded to you shortly also for distribution through the ISWI Newsletter.
