ISWI Newsletter - Vol.2 No.39 17 May 2010
Dear ISWI Participant:
The "ISWI Logo Contest" (which was announced in ISWI Newsletter
Vol.1, No.3 and Vol.2, No.1) has a winning design.
It was selected by the "ISWI Logo Selection Committee" --
consisting of Prof. Yumoto of Japan, Dr Amory of France,
Dr Davila of NASA, and Dr Thompson of NASA. There were
23 logo design entries from 10 persons/groups.
And:
The winning design comes from Dr Ben Cotts and his
colleagues at Stanford University, California, USA.
The winning logo design is attached as a 6.5 MB pdf (ISWI_Logo.pdf).
It is in English.
Also available are versions of it without text (ISWI_Logo_noText1.pdf
and ISWI_Logo_noText2.pdf). These can be easily modified with
the aid of Adobe Illustrator to include text of your
language (Arabic, Chinese, or whatever). You can then use
your modified logo inside your country (for your national
ISWI website, publications, etc.).
Because of the size of the files, the "no text" versions
will be sent out in the next two issues of the ISWI Newsletter.
The available ISWI logo versions are summarized in
"summary of the 3 logos" 1.0 MB pdf, one page,
which is attached as a second file.
