The Int'l CAWSES-II Symposium took place in Nagoya last year November. It was really well done. Kudos to the conveners, the entire LOC, and Nagoya University for a fantastic job. I participated in this symposium and found it extremely informative, rewarding, and satisfying; I took lots of photos -- I attach a subset of these photos. (Not everyone is identified as I lack the time to investigate thoroughly -- sorry.)
At the time pre-registration was closed, the numbers were these:
Registrations by foreigners | 139 persons. |
Registrations by Japanese | 159 persons. |
Total | 298 persons. |
(The actual number of participants is higher because some people registered later.) |
Anyway, CAWSES-II has ended, and VarSITI starts on 13 Jan 2014 ... just around the corner.
