The Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics, Trieste, Italy, has recently released a new web-based platform that aims to automate and simplify the use of an ionosphere model and the way to obtain TEC calibrated from GNSS.
The platform consists of two web services:
(1)
The NeQuick 2 web model (Reference: Nava, B, Coisson, P,
Radicella, SM (2008). "A new version of the NeQuick
ionosphere electron density model", Journal of Atmospheric
and Solar-Terrestrial Physics, 70(15):1856-1862,
(2)
The experimental GNSS TEC Calibration online (Reference: L. Ciraolo, F. Azpilicueta, C. Brunini, A. Meza, S. M. Radicella .
"Calibration errors on experimental slant total electron content (TEC) determined with GPS". Journal of Geodesy 81.2 (2007): 111-120
These tools are publicly available within one simple, reliable and user-friendly resource. The services are free online for web users at http://t-ict4d.ictp.it
