ISWI Newsletter - Vol.4 No.2 08 January 2012
Dear ISWI Participant:
Space does not permit to attach all received greeting cards;
I attach a random few (nine).
The card from Australia is from IPS, which is now a part of
the Bureau of Meteorology in that country. IPS was originally
set up to provide forecasts on ionospheric conditions for
shortwave radio communications, many decades ago. Over
the years its role has become broader. For example, IPS
maintains on behalf of SERC most of the MAGDAS magnetometers
running in Australia. For this work, SERC is most grateful
to IPS. IPS does really top-notch work and cannot be
commended enough. Heartfelt thanks to the entire crew at IPS!
... especially to Dr Richard Marshall.

Best Wishes for the New Year from the MAGDAS Project,
