ISWI Newsletter - Vol.4 No.78
04 July 2012

Dear ISWI Participant:

This is somewhat a continuation of yesterday's issue (Part 3 of RBSP 2012). The title of the attached White Paper is "Opportunities for Cooperation: THEMIS and RBSP". It is by Dr David Sibeck (mailto:david.g.sibeck[at]nasa.gov), who is based at Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland, USA. I circulate this pdf with his permission and with his request that comments and suggestions for improvement be sent to him.

It is the inter-play between various observation platforms that makes space weather an exciting research arena. Hence, the contribution from ground-based stations is tremendously important. Essential.

As the publisher of this newsletter often tells students: "Without data there can be no science."

Faithfully yours,
