Dear ISWI Participant:
The STEL (Solar-Terrestrial Environment Laboratory) of Nagoya University has produced a really outstanding set of comic books designed to raise public awareness on the following topics:
- What are the Polar Regions?!
- What are Cosmic Rays?!
- What is Global Warming?!
- What is the Ozone Hole?!
- What is the Solar Wind?!
- What is the Aurora?!
- What is the Geomagnetic Field?!
- What is the Sun-Climate Relationship?!
- What is the Upper Atmosphere?!
Each comes as a 10- to 30-page pamphlet, in both hardcopy and softcopy.
The softcopies have all been provided to SCOTEP, and SCOSTEP
provides them to you right here:

I encourage you to download some of them for your outreach activities or other public awareness initiatives.
To give you one sample, I attach the pamphlet on the geomagnetic field. This can be readily used in many kinds of classrooms or at outreach events.
