Dear ISWI Participant:

A main focus of ISWI is to bring into the space-weather and space-science community the engineers and scientists residing in developing nations. In short, we need them.

At the 1st ISWI Workshop (Helwan, Egypt), we were fortunate to have many young scientists from such nations deliver talks on their work. One example is Edwin Choque, who is a student of Dr Jose Ishitsuka in Peru. They are with IGP ( http://www.igp.gob.pe/ ) of Peru. I attach as pdf Edwin's presentation (slide show) at the workshop last month; the pdf has 14 slides.

I also attach some photos that I took of Edwin during the workshop. There are four photos on one pdf page.
