Dear ISWI Participant:
The two attached files were received by the "ISWI Newsletter Office" from Dr Hans Haubold of the "United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (Vienna)". Pursuant to a recent UN General Assembly resolution, the UN observed the International Mother Earth Day on 22 April 2010. For the activities at the United Nations Office at Vienna, the two attached documents were used for public presentations.
Dr Haubold made this comment: "The NASA IHY/ISWI document has very nice embedded movie clips to lecture on space weather and to
show its impact on Earth!" . (The movies do not show on an overly old version of Acrobat Reader.)
