(My trip to Sumatra is on hold; instead, I will be in Africa from August 6 to August 21 for installation work. The ISWI Newsletter office will be closed during this period.)

With great pleasure I attach a meeting report from Malaysia. I received this item today from Farahana Kamarudin (Research Officer, National Space Agency, Malaysia). On July 20, 2010, the "ISWI Working Committee of Malaysia" convened its first meeting. The group photo of the committee is especially good, I think.

If your country has similar gatherings, please provide me with a simple report similar to the one attached. Because of the archive at the ISWI website, this newsletter becomes part of the permanent record of ISWI - after everything has been said and done.
