Dear ISWI Participant:
To encourage the development of ISWI activities in each ISWI-participating country, each country has a National Coordinator. The list is maintained at the ISWI website but to give you a feel for it I attach a snapshot of it. Please check out the entire list some time. (click here)
It is hoped that national coordinators report their activities to either the ISWI website or the ISWI Newsletter but, alas, this reporting has fallen short of expectations. If you are a ISWI National Coordinator please submit more reports on your country's ISWI activities. Such reports enable the ISWI community to see what is happening in your country in terms of ISWI. As well, reporting is a major duty of a national coordinator.
If you (as a national coordinator) would like to step down and pass the baton to a younger scientist then please do so. Just contact the ISWI Secretariat. We need to have more activity at the country level if we are to call ourselves an "international initiative" !
